Management Information System Electives<br />

Objective<br />

The Management Information Systems elective option is intended to provide students <strong>with</strong> a<br />

comprehensive overview of the principal topics and issues in management information systems. In<br />

addition, the option focuses on skill development related to the management of information systems<br />

and e-business operations.<br />

Description<br />

Through this option, students will gain a thorough grounding in how technology can be applied to<br />

solving problems and exploiting business opportunities. Students will explore the application of<br />

computerized information systems, including Web technologies, to run a modern technology-based<br />

business.<br />
