The detailed teachers’ guides included in thekits have been published in Hebrew, Arabic, English, French, German,Nepalese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.Other material, including journal articles, Power Point slides, newspaperclippings, and materials from the Joint United Nations Progamme onHIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and other relevant agencies, supplement the kits.Practical information about HIV testing sites, including hospitals’ telephonenumbers, is also provided. Educators can access additional resources fromthe JAIP’s resource center.AdvocacyInformation about the program is published in newspapers, over theInternet, and on posters and stickers. Staff associated with the programalso participate in television <strong>programs</strong> viewed by young people.The program has lobbied the Israeli parliament to develop a nationalpolicy on HIV/AIDS and education and to include HIV/AIDS educationin the school curriculum.
