Soldering IronsA soldering iron is shown in figure 2-4. This is connected to the 115-volt ac variable outlet of thepower unit. You control the temperature by adjusting the voltage. The iron has replaceable tips. Chosenfor their long life and good heat conductivity, soldering iron tips are high quality with iron-clad overcopper construction.
