Core Strategy OptionsThis option maximises the use of brownfield land through further development of the airportbusiness park.Future growth of the airport and business park is likely to generate increased road trafficwhich has implications for habitats and air quality. Mitigation measures to minimise / avoidadverse impacts include; best construction practice and ecological surveys. Measures toachieve nitrogen neutrality include sub regional tree planting schemes, reducing the need totravel, improvements to public transport and use of renewable energy sources. It also offers flexibility to meet changing businessrequirements over the plan period to 2027.
