It also prepares students for the CertifiedCash Manager (CCM) exam. The CCM designation signifies a highdegree of expertise in the field of cash and treasury management.Program Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:• Develop essential skills in problem-solving with emphasis onwealth maximization• Integrate ethical and global issues that impact business andfinance.• Gain a greater understanding of political, social, legal,regulatory, and technological issues in the context of micro andmacro finance.• Equip themselves with an integrated view of the theoretical andpractical aspects of Finance.• Prepare themselves for careers in financial management,financial institutions, financial markets, law, government service,and related fields.Degree RequirementsTo receive a Bachelor of Science with a major in financialmanagement, students must complete at least 180 quarter units asarticulated below, 76.5 of which must be completed at the upperdivisionlevel and 45 of which must be completed in residence at<strong>National</strong> <strong>University</strong>. This termincludes all aspects of the casino operations and all ancillarydepartments that are tied into the infrastructure of such casinoresorts. Combining general business and management courses withcasino specific skill level and management courses, students will beprepared for an entry level position or advancement within theindustry. In addition to acquiring general business and managementskills, students will become familiar with the hospitalityenvironment; understand the basic regulatory issues, including theterminology and implications for game protection. Working incollaborative teams, actual scenarios from industry will be discussedand analyzed through problem resolution processes.
