Healthcare administration involves the organization,financing and delivery of services to prevent and treat illness anddisease, including programs that serve the public and privatesectors at all levels—local, state and federal.The BSHA program emphasizes the conceptual and analytical skillsrequired to manage in contemporary healthcare organizations. Theprogram features experiential opportunities in project management,teamwork and leadership. Ideal candidates for the BSHA programare those students looking for career entry in healthcareadministration and those looking to advance from clinical/technicalroles to supervisory roles. Graduates will enhance theiropportunities for professional growth and job placement throughcarefully planned internships and a capstone experience.
