Our activities<br />

Sodexo partners with private and public and<br />

organizations to design, manage and deliver<br />

customized Motivation Solutions in three service<br />

categories:<br />

• employee Benefits to attract, engage and retain<br />

employees (such as restaurant and transport<br />

vouchers);<br />

• Incentives and Recognition to help organizations<br />

reach their qualitative and quantitative objectives<br />

(gift vouchers, etc.);<br />

• Public Benefits to manage and control the<br />

distribution of aid and public subsidies.<br />

The Pass, designed by Sodexo to serve a variety<br />

of purposes from transport and meals to gifts and<br />

training, is accepted by a network of more than<br />

1 million retailers and service providers throughout<br />

the world.<br />

SYNERGIES BETWEEN OUR THREE ACTIVITIES<br />

Important synergies exist between Sodexo’s three<br />

activities:<br />

Organizational and cost synergies<br />

The teams of Sodexo’s different activities are able<br />

to share the same infrastructure (support functions,<br />

facilities, etc.), saving on structural costs. In addition,<br />

the multiple career gateways that exist between<br />

the Group’s three activities offer important human<br />

resource synergies.<br />

Brand synergies<br />

The presence of the Sodexo brand at the point of<br />

sale of numerous Motivation Solutions affiliates<br />

contributes to building brand awareness in countries<br />

where the Group operates, helping promote medium<br />

term development.<br />

Personal and Home Services<br />

Sodexo designs and deploys Personal and Home<br />

Services that improve the Quality of Life in four<br />

main areas:<br />

• childcare;<br />

• tutoring and adult education;<br />

• concierge services ;<br />

• senior care.<br />

Through these services, Sodexo contributes to the<br />

development of children, teenagers, adults and<br />

seniors.<br />

Commercial synergies<br />

Commercial relationships created by one of the<br />

three activities generate business development<br />

opportunities for the other two, such as:<br />

• Sodexo’s On-site Services clients may also need<br />

restaurant vouchers for geographically-dispersed<br />

employees; conversely, Motivation Solutions<br />

clients may seek On-site Services;<br />

• Motivation Solutions and On-site Services clients<br />

may need Personal and Home Services such as<br />

concierge services, a childcare center or assistance<br />

to elderly individuals.<br />

These examples illustrate how the choice of these<br />

three activities helps Sodexo accelerate its organic<br />

growth.
