France ‑ New headquarters for French<br />

Defense Ministry<br />

Under a 30-year Public-Private Partnership signed<br />

with the French Defense Ministry, Sodexo will<br />

provide an array of services for the 9,600 people at<br />

the Ministry’s new headquarters, including cleaning,<br />

foodservices, accommodations, concierge services,<br />

laundry services, waste management, grounds<br />

maintenance and security.<br />

Kuwait ‑ Ensuring service quality at desert<br />

bases<br />

The Ministry of Defense in Kuwait entrusted Sodexo<br />

with the responsibility to deliver support for 6,000<br />

American soldiers stationed at three widely dispersed<br />

and remote sites under a three-year contract for<br />

foodservices and equipment maintenance.<br />

Sweden ‑ Site and Facilities Management<br />

At Ronneby Air Force Garrison in the South of<br />

Sweden, Sodexo is responsible for facilities and<br />

site maintenance as well as providing administrative<br />

services at the 160-building garrison.<br />

Our On‑site Service Solutions<br />

at 51 mess halls across the U.S. at which Sodexo feeds<br />

the Marines and maintains and repairs foodservices<br />

equipment. Sodexo subcontracts 37% of the services<br />

to small, minority, disadvantaged and womenowned<br />

businesses and to organizations representing<br />

individuals with disabilities. Sodexo custom-designs<br />

its offers at each base and gives preference in its<br />

purchases to locally grown products.<br />

The Sodexo-operated Mess Hall 1660 at Marine Corps<br />

Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms in California<br />

earned the U.S. Marine Corps’ (USMC) highest honor<br />

for a foodservices operation, the 2011 W.P.T. Hill<br />

Memorial Award, an annual competition recognizing<br />

foodservice excellence at USMC installations around<br />

the globe.<br />
