Though he made an error inhis analysis, that error did not nullify what he said from aqualitative viewpoint and a quantitative correction still left aperihelion advance that is ignored in presenting the General Theoryof Relativity.The fact that Gerber's work is Ignored has to mean that thetheory of relativity does not concern itself with the retardedtransfer of energy in the gravitational field.
