The person who originally detectedthe absolute motion of the Earth is German Karginov. Hecarried out his experiment with a slightly different apparatus,and using the sunlight. However, the outcome of both experiment.*is remarkably similar, and Karginov was unable to publish hisresults.If the author wishes to learn about the discovery, I suggestthat he may contact Karginov, who used to live in Budapest. Ido not know his present whereabouts, but it may be of help tomention that he is the author of the book "Rodchenko" whichhas been translated also to Hungarian and was published in 1975by Corvina.I should like to add that the present form of the manuscriptis unsuitable for publication, independently of the validityof the results, because it contains a large number of sideremarkswhich are unnecessary for communicating the results.However, the paper is written in a quite enjoyable style,and it could be published either as a personal edition orperhaps in a literary magazine.
