FEMA Mitigation ProgramscFederal funding for mitigation is availableon a regular basis for pre-disaster mitigationactivities and as federal assistancefollowing a presidential disaster declaration.Table 1 provides a side-by-side comparison ofavailable funding programs administered byFEMA.
