fulfilling of which advice may alone, in my opinion, in the now createdconditions, stop the development of the disastrous consequences of thecauses provoked by the errors in the past.This benevolent advice of mine to you Americans, composing in thegiven case this group, and who became, thanks to a series ofaccidentally arranged circumstances of life, my nearest essentialfriends, consists in indicating the categorical necessity that each of youshould cease entirely, at least for three months, the reading of yournewspapers and magazines, and during this time should become as wellacquainted as possible with the contents of all three books of the firstseries of my writings entitled An Objectively Impartial Criticism of theLife of Man.An acquaintance with the contents of these books is quiteindispensable for each of you, chiefly in order to obtain directly orindirectly information elucidated from all sides regarding all thosedefinite notions upon which will be based and from which willlogically derive all the problems which are pursued for practicalattainments. It was just for this purpose that your group was organizedand is now reorganized to consist of people who have more or lesscognized the absurdity of our ordinary life and who, although you havenot yet sensed it with all your Being but are seriously striving to take inwhat you have cognized, are continuing to learn as many aspects of theobjective truth as possible so as to determine, in accordance with this,your own real individuality, in order to manifest afterwards ineverything in a way corresponding to a Godlike creature.It must be said that all I have expounded in the three books of thefirst series in its totality embraces almost all the questions which in myopinion, formed on the basis of long years of experimental elucidations,may arise under the condi-
