3.4.5.2 International RelationsPurposeTo ensure International Relations (IR) that effectively support thefive-year strategic priorities and programme of Gauteng ProvincialGovernment in the medium term.Measurable objective• The development of an IR framework and system• Reviewing of sisterhood agreements• Developing and implementing an International relationsprogramme and a regulatory framework approved to manageengagements and partnerships• Implementation of the GPG’s commitments to the NewPartnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) mandateincluding commitments to the African Peer Review Mechanism(APRM).Service Delivery Objectives and IndicatorsThe following are the achievements of the sub-programme:• The development of an International Relations Framework andsystemAn International Relations Framework was developed andapproved by the Executive Council.
