MODULAR SAFETY INTEGRATED CONTROLLER MOSAIC Parameters There are two types of reset: Manual and Monitored. When Manual is selected the system only verifies the signal's transition from 0 to 1. If Monitored is selected the double transition from 0 to 1 and then back to 0 is verified. t = 250 ms t1 > 250 ms t2 = 250 ms Important: for Manual reset always use the input immediately after those used by the function block. E.g.: if inputs 1 and 2 are used for the function block, use input 3 for Reset. MODULAR SAFETY INTEGRATED CONTROLLER MOSAIC COUNTER OPERATORS COUNTER operator is a pulse counter that sets output Q to 1 (TRUE) as soon as the desired count is reached. The operator COUNTER is a pulse counter. There are 3 operationg modes: 1) AUTOMATIC 2) MANUAL 3) AUTOMATIC + MANUAL Counter value is 6 for all examples: 1) The counter generates a pulse duration equal to 2 x Tcycle (indicated in the REPORT) as soon as the set count is reached. If the CLEAR pin is not enabled this is the default mode. 2) The counter leads to 1 (TRUE) the output Q as soon as it reaches the set count.
