MODULAR SAFETY INTEGRATED CONTROLLER MOSAIC<br />

Filter (ms): Permits filtering of signals from the safety device. This filter can be set to<br />

between 3 and 250 ms and eliminates any rebounds on the contacts. The duration of the<br />

filter affects calculation of module total response time.<br />

Simultaneity (ms): always active. Determines that maximum permissible time (msec)<br />

between switching of the various signals from the external contacts of the device.<br />

Enable Error Out: If selected reports a fault detected by the function block.<br />

Item description: Permits insertion of a descriptive text of the function of the component.<br />

This text will be displayed in the top part of the symbol.<br />

Element that permits insertion of a non-safety input<br />

whose status is modified via the fieldbus.<br />

Up to 8 virtual inputs can be inserted and the bit<br />

on which status is to be modified must be selected<br />

for each.<br />

They are represented with one byte on the fieldbus.<br />

(For more detailed information, consult the fieldbus<br />

manual on the MSD CD-ROM).<br />

WARNING: the FIELDBUS INPUT is NOT a safety input.<br />

These allow a predefined logical level to be entered on a component’s<br />

input.<br />

-> logical level 0<br />

-> logical level 1<br />

IMPORTANT: LL0 and LL1 cannot be used to disable the logical ports in the diagram.<br />

This allows a description to be entered and placed<br />

in any point of the diagram.<br />
