achieved for a longer time period, up to one year, in cases where the sulphuric
peloid was not applied on the operated hip. Therefore, the authors plead for using
sulphuric peloid in M. Perthes in order to achieve much faster remodeling of the
femoral head, and to rehabilitate children for walk and everyday activities as soon
as possible. Some scientific research has been initiated in this direction. Therefore,
our further studies will be oriented toward this direction on the cellular level.
