Results
Specific research approaches to these areas will be outlined to facilitate the most
efficient use of limited research funding achieving the maximum impact upon
human health through aquatics.
Conclusions
Given the probable long-term international limitations of research funding, it is
critical to focus available funding toward those areas with the greatest potential for
health benefit impact. This talk will hopefully facilitate discussion of the best ways
to coordinate international research efforts.
