Introduction <strong>and</strong> Objectives<br />

Background context: A relationship between obesity <strong>and</strong> lower back pain, two of<br />

the most important public health concerns, has been demonstrated. However, there<br />

are no studies comparing the effectiveness of a multimodal physiotherapy program<br />

(MPP) (combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise <strong>and</strong> health education)<br />

in patients with chronic non-specific lower back pain (CNLBP) where the criteria<br />

for the groups is the patients' BMI.<br />

Purpose: To compare the results of an MPP for 8 weeks between two groups:<br />

obese (G1) (BMI:≥30) <strong>and</strong> non-obese (G2) (BMI:
