Conclusions
The increase of seats has been spectacular since 2004, and although we now
have better means of management and control, they are less direct than it was
before this date. The medical aspects of the program have lost ground and it\'s now
an eminently social program, rather than a social and health one. However, the
number of people benefited from the thermal cure, and the income that the sector
has seen , allowing reinvestment in improving and upgrading its facilities and
services and the creation and maintenance of direct and indirect jobs support the
conclusion that we have largely met the objectives for which this social program
was born. The economic crisis has had a clear impact on the decline in demand in
recent years and may also be levied through possible changes in future budget, will
necessitate further adaptive changes to ensure the absorption of this demand and
minimize economic losses in the sector.
