• Layer Effects<br />
Add 2D Layer Effects such as Shadow, Glow, Bevel, and Emboss for a<br />
sophisticated look on text or other image elements. Apply multiple effects<br />
onto a layer's existing effects for stunning design output. Move into the realm<br />
of astounding 3D Lighting and Surface Effects—advanced algorithms bring<br />
flat shapes to life! Vary surface and source light properties. Start with a<br />
pattern or a function, adjust parameters for incredible surface contours,<br />
textures, fills. Try 3D Painting using Depth Maps to add instant<br />
dimensionality to your artwork. Painting or erasing on a layer's depth map<br />
appears as raised or lowered strokes on the image! Use with 3D layer effects to<br />
achieve "carved" side-view textures.<br />
• Versatile Deform and Warp Tools<br />
The "Swiss Army Knife" of image tools, Deform lets you rotate, resize, skew,<br />
reshape, or add perspective to any selection or layer. Warp tools pull, stretch,<br />
and distort image details, or shrink and enlarge. Pixels turn to putty with the<br />
Mesh Warp tool! Use a customizable grid of points and lines to bend images<br />
with precision.<br />

Take your pick of radial, linear, conical, or square fills—perfect for masking, to<br />
hide or reveal parts of your photo using smooth graduated blends to<br />
transparency. One master dialog allows editing of five gradient fill types<br />
