EC-2: There is a need to ensure meaningful community input into water regulations.<br />
Management Action SEPA Analysis<br />
1. The Watershed Planning Implementing Body will develop and keep<br />
up-to-date a list <strong>of</strong> processes where local input is required,<br />
encouraged or allowed. The Watershed Planning Implementing Body<br />
will provide this information to <strong>WRIA</strong> <strong>62</strong> residents (e.g., a regular<br />
<strong>WRIA</strong> <strong>62</strong> <strong>WMP</strong> <strong>032305</strong><br />
“What’s Coming” column in the local paper).<br />
2. The Watershed Planning Implementing Body will develop and<br />
implement mechanisms into improve local input to water related law,<br />
policy and regulations (i.e., educate the public about the various<br />
processes that include public input and develop specific actions to<br />
improve public participation).<br />
