WQUAL 4b-1 The Watershed Planning Unit recommends that the Implementing Body support
the Northeast Tri-County Health District and the WA Department of Health to
conduct sanitary surveys of Group A and B water systems in WRIA 62.
WQUAL 4b-2 The Watershed Planning Unit recommends that Pend Oreille County consider
WQUAL 4b-3 The Watershed Planning Implementing Body will coordinate with WDOH and
the Northeast Tri-County Health District to identify water systems that have not
The Watershed Planning Implementing Body will communicate with the
operators of these systems and encourage them to obtain educational materials
and technical assistance from water resource groups and agencies (e.g.,
Evergreen Rural Water, Washington Environmental Training Center (WETRC),
WDOH, Northeast Tri-County Health District) to develop and/or implement
wellhead protection plans.
