Use the following procedures to install devices in the programmer's Base:

Inserting a DIP Device into a DIP Base
1. Install the DIP Base.
2. Unlock the socket by pulling up on the socket lever.
3. Insert the DIP device into the socket. Bottom justify the device as shown in
Figure 2-9. If the device is not bottom justified, the programmer cannot
read or program the device.
4. Lock the device into place by pressing the socket lever down.
