Toner-Based PostScript Printers

With the base license of ORIS Press Matcher⁄⁄Web you can directly output
on any toner-based device with a PostScript printer driver installed
on your computer, such as a digital laser printer or digital press.
ORIS Press Matcher⁄⁄Web performs the color management only. All
other PostScript driver settings (output tray, duplex, finishing options,
etc.) are passed on to the RIP without any alteration.
Note: Inkjet printers with a PostScript driver are not supported.
Please avoid printer names with double quotes (").
Printing Presses, LFP and Grand Format Printers
With an additional software license you can also prepare print jobs for
any high-volume digital press, conventional offset or gravure press,
large-format or grand-format printer.
The data can be color-matched, ink-optimized and converted to another
color space. The result is converted to any common file format (PDF,
TIFF, etc.) and then sent to the input queue of the RIP or digital front end.

• Separated multi-file grayscale TIFF (see page 16-6)
