Connecting a computer to the Internet is a source of potential risk. The
computer may be hacked and data may be spied out, modified, or
deleted.
ORIS Press Matcher⁄⁄Web does not automatically provide for computer
security. The owner of the Web Server is responsible for this. CGS does
not assume any liability for damages arising from insufficient protection
against attacks from the Internet.
To protect your computer we recommend the following:
• Have the Internet connection set up by qualified professionals.
• The Web Server should be protected by an external firewall.
We strongly advice against a direct Internet connection. This would
require extremely complex measures for protecting the ORIS Press
Matcher⁄⁄Web Server. As a result, working in the local network would
be subject to considerable restrictions.
