2 Color-Matched File Output
This chapter provides a quick start to creating color-matched file output.
You will learn how to iteratively color-match your input files, which will be
converted to the selected output format (e.g. PDF or TIFF). The result
can be sent to the input queue of a RIP or digital front end.
This allows you to create contract proofs and high-res production files for
any high-volume digital press, conventional offset or gravure press,
large-format or grand-format printer.
The steps explained in this guide include:
• Setting up output queues (includes iterative color matching)
• Adding and correcting queue settings
• Processing jobs
• Controlling jobs and output queues
• Remote output via Web browser
