Modifying Paper White Simulation

Step 2: Edit Color Table
1. Enter 0 into all of the input boxes under PRINT (on the left). This is
usually the default setting.

2. Into the input boxes under PROOF (on the right), enter the tonal values
to be used for simulating the paper color. Set all of the four values to
0 to turn off the paper white simulation.
3. Enter the action range, i.e. the degree by which your changes should
also affect similar colors (see also page 18-13).
Very small values (1–2) provide color matches with optimum delta E
values. Primary colors which are very close to white, however, are
still affected by the paper white simulation to a certain extent and may
therefore be mixed with other colors.
Slightly higher values (5–10) are likely to provide better visual results.
Step 3: Save Changes
1. In the COLOR VALUE CORRECTION dialog, click on APPLY.
2. Click on SAVE. Change the file name, e.g. to …relative.CC.
3. Click on CLOSE.
