Acknowledgements
We must begin by acknowledging and recognising
the participation of the following people without
whom neither the development of the Thematic
Week on Water Supply and Sanitation Services
nor the quality reflected within these pages would
have been possible.
Firstly, we wish to thank our collaborators in the
coordination of the Week: Pedro García Mayordomo
from Isabel II Canal and Sici Sanchez Tamarit from
the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine
Affairs.
We would particularly like to recognise the hard
work of the whole team at the Water Tribune: Eduardo
Mestre and Carlos Rodriguez Casals, those who
directed and coordinated the whole process; also
to the volunteers, multi-taskers, sound and camera
technicians, stage managers, shift managers and
the manager of the Tribune Pavilion, heads of the
various Departments, external assessors and collaborators,
administrative personnel, without forgetting
any who may have fallen along the way, and, in general,
to all those who formed part of the human
team at the Water Tribune. They worked wonders to
smooth out processes and running the week.
We would like to praise the work of the moderators
for the sessions and round tables and the panellists
who help enrich and enliven the contents of
the week and whose work is not featured in this document
as we had not asked them for written contributions
of their participation – as seen below:
