Ficción y Realidad en <strong>la</strong> obra <strong>de</strong> Truman Capote<br />

<strong>La</strong> cena tuvo lugar en su habitación don<strong>de</strong> para empezar tomaron<br />

unas bebidas (el alcohol y <strong>la</strong> <strong>de</strong>scripción <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> voz <strong>de</strong> Marlon Brando <strong>de</strong><br />

nuevo para introducir <strong>la</strong>s pa<strong>la</strong>bras <strong>de</strong> éste<br />

“Tite <strong>la</strong>st eight, nine years of my life itad been a<br />

Mientras Brando, al que Capote en un momento califica <strong>de</strong><br />

“monologist”, continúa hab<strong>la</strong>ndo. Truman, por su parte, pasa a recordar el<br />

primer encuentro que tuvo con el actor. Según Truman, el encuentro se<br />

produjo en una tar<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> invierno <strong>de</strong> 1947 en Nueva York cuando asistió al<br />

estreno <strong>de</strong> A Streetcar NamedDesire <strong>de</strong> T. Williams.AI concluir <strong>la</strong> obra es<br />

cuando Truman y Marlon coincidieron. Dice Truman que en los nueve<br />

años que han transcurrido Marlon Brando había cambiado mucho ya que<br />
