5.2 - USE OF THE<br />
HMI-3P<br />
The HMI-3P is a simple interface wich permits the operation<br />
and the programming of the Soft-Starter.<br />
It permits the following functions:<br />

<br />
Display of the Soft-Starter operation status, as well as<br />
the main variables<br />
Error display<br />
Display and changing of the adjustable parameters<br />
Soft-Starter operation through the keys START ("I") and<br />
STOP ("O")<br />
5.2.1 - Use of the<br />
HMI-3P for<br />
Operation<br />
All functions relating to the Soft-Starter operation (enabling<br />
(ON - "I") disabling (OFF "O"); increment/decrement (values/<br />
parameters) can be performed through the HMI-3P. This is<br />
made through standard factory programming of the Soft-<br />
Starter. These functions ON, OFF and Reset can also be<br />
executed individually by means of digital inputs. So it is<br />
necessary to program the parameters relating to these<br />
correspondent functions and inputs.<br />
Find below the key description of the HMI-3P used for<br />
operation, when the Soft-Starter is Standard factory<br />
programmed:<br />
When programmed P61 = On<br />
It functions as "I" (START), "O" (STOP) the motor<br />
The motor accelerates and decelerates according to the set<br />
ramps.<br />
