6.4.15 - P63 - Watch Dog<br />

Serial<br />
Communication<br />
This parameter can enable or disable the serial<br />
communication watch dog, as well as set the watch dog<br />
time. This protection (E29 Error) acts when the serial<br />
communication between the master and the Soft-Starter<br />
is interrupted, causing the action as set in parameter P64.<br />
NOTE!<br />
Enable this function only if there is cyclic serial communication<br />
with a Master.<br />
Set the watch dog time according to the time between<br />
telegrams sent by the Master.<br />

After Watch Dog<br />
Time is Elapsed<br />
This parameter sets the action to be adopted after the<br />
watch dog time is elapsed.<br />
NOTE!<br />
P63 must be set different from OFF.<br />
Values of P64:<br />
1- Indicates only E29 error on the HMI of<br />
the Soft-Starter.<br />
2 - Indicates E29 error and disables the Soft-<br />
Starter by ramp, if P04 is programmed<br />
different from OFF. If P04=OFF, the<br />
motor is stopped by inertia.<br />
3 - Indicates E29 error and causes general<br />
disabling of the Soft-Starter. Its acts as<br />
Emergency. The motor is stopped by<br />
inertia.<br />
