Samarbetet med
Kina i fokus
Helsingfors universitet satsar på ökat samarbete
med Kina inom forskning och undervisning. Allt
Kinarelaterat material kommer att sammanföras
till en enda samling i Kajsahuset. Inom Asienforskningen
har en mångvetenskaplig forskningsgrupp
inlett sitt arbete och samarbetet
främjas också genom Konfutse-institutet.
Kina riktar nu blickarna mot Norden som
en förebild för social och samhällelig utveckling.
Forskningssamarbetet med de finska universiteten
ökar, och de kinesiska studenterna håller på
att bli den största gruppen internationella studenter
vid Helsingfors universitet.
I Kajsahuset finns en Kinasamling som i huvudsak
innehåller forskningslitteratur, till stor
del på kinesiska. Vid universitetet finns också
Konfutse-institutet som finansieras av Kina, Finlands
undervisnings- och kulturministerium och
universitetet. Institutet grundades 2007 och har
ett eget bibliotek och en rådgivningstjänst.
Det senaste samarbetsprojektet är Finnish
Center of Chinese Law and Chinese Legal Culture,
som inrättades 2012. Det är ett gemensamt
projekt mellan de finska universiteten och
Rättspolitiska forskningsinstitutet och har sitt
huvudkontor i anslutning till Juridiska fakulteten
vid Helsingfors universitet.
Spotlight on China
cooperation
The University of Helsinki emphasises
increased cooperation with China in the fields
of teaching and research. In line with this, all
China-related materials will be compiled into a
single collection in the Kaisa library. Moreover,
a multidisciplinary research group was recently
set up in Asian Studies and cooperation is also
promoted through the Confucius Institute.
The Nordic countries have attracted
attention in China as a model for social
and community development. Research
collaboration with Finnish universities is on the
rise, and the Chinese are becoming the largest
group of international students at the University
of Helsinki.
The Kaisa House will house a Chinaoriented
collection, which mainly consists of
research literature, much of it written in the
Chinese language. The University is also home
to the Confucius Institute, which is funded by
the Chinese Government, the Finnish Ministry
of Education and Culture and the University of
Helsinki. Founded in 2007, the Institute has its
own library and information service.
The Finnish Centre of Chinese Law and
Chinese Legal Culture, established in 2012, is the
latest cooperation project with China. A joint
undertaking involving Finnish universities and
the National Research Institute of Legal Policy,
the Centre runs its main office in connection
with the University of Helsinki Faculty of Law.
