One issue from the Biography of Vazha-Pshavela

The essay describes creative values of the writers’ biographies taking
into consideration the literary-theoretical observations made in the Euro-
American space (R. Emerson, Saint-Beuve, A. Maurois, P. Valéry, J.-P. Sartre,
K. G. Jung, etc.) and Georgian reality (I. Chavchavadze, Vazha-Pshavela
and others).
In this context based on the corrections of the literary-documentary materials
concerning Vazha-Pshavela’s life and the information supplied by the
writer himself, against the traditional estimation that Vazha-Pshavela was
born on the 14 th (26 th ) July of 1861 it has been determined that the writer was
born on the 15 th (27 th ) May of 1862.
