APPENDIX 3 - USE OF CHARTS FOR MIDI PROGRAMMING
To establish table value to be inserted in your MIDI sequences for MIDI programming, you just need to identify,
inside the table, the parameter value to be inserted.
That value corresponds to those you can directly see on effect display.
The value will be established by sum of values choosing row and column values.
For measurement units expressed in percentage or in step, you don’t need to use tables and value to be inserted
corresponds to Control Change values from 0 to 127.
Referring to following table, for example, if you want to insert value “66” using MIDI Control Change, the value
inserting procedure will be the following one
ROW VALUE
CONTROL
CHANGE
VALUE
COLUMN
VALUE
Row value = 3 +
column value = 30
= 33.
Thus Control Change value to be inserted is 33, corresponding to “66” value at crossing point.
This procedure is the same for all the tables.
The table to be chosen for each parameter is indicated in parameter description.
