Beste praksis prosjektledelse

Når det gjelder oppfølging i forhold til kostnadsestimater er prinsippene rundt Inntjent verdi(Earned Value Management) beskrevet som en beste praksis (Rolstadås 2011). Utfordringenligger i å få implementert disse gode prinsippene i prosjekter på en god måte og med godeverktøy.OmfangsstyringDet å planlegge omfanget håndteres gjennom å etablere gode beskrivelser av det planlagtearbeidsomfanget, gjerne gjennom Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Utfordringen er å styrearbeidsomfang underveis. Endringer og tillegg er en av hovedårsakene til kostnadskatastroferi bygge- og anleggsprosjekt (Eikeland 1999). Det samme ser vi i studien av Torp et al (2012)hvor en av de viktigste årsakene til kostnadsutviklingen i vegprosjekter er at en faktisk byggernoe annet enn planlagt.
