4.DERİNLEŞTİRME (ELABORATE)

Please think solving this problem and create your own material

As a class, watch Soil Pollution Lesson For Kids Pause after the section 'What Is Soil Pollution?' Discuss:

o Who and what does soil pollution impact?

Look at the list of pollutants and compare to your class trash.

Now watch the section 'How Pollutants Get Into The Soil' with students. Ask:

o Where are some places trash goes after it leaves our classroom?

o Why is it dangerous to incinerate trash?

o How can factories and farms cause soil pollution?

o What are oil spills?

Have students turn and talk to a partner to predict the impact of soil pollution on plants and animals, then watch

the section 'Effects On Living Things' together. Compare and contrast predictions to content.

Next watch 'Reducing Soil Pollution' together.

Divide students into groups of three or four and have each group develop a classroom plan for preventing soil

pollution, such as creating recycle bins for the school or contacting the cafeteria to begin a composting program.

When students are finished, have them share their plans.

Watch the 'Lesson Summary' together and allow students to ask any remaining questions before taking the

lesson quiz to check understanding.

4.1.SIMULATED VERSION OF THE DESIGN
