Przegląd Sił Powietrznych (The Air Force Review)Dear Readers,this month Przegląd Sił Powietrznych (The Air Force Review) celebratesthe 85th anniversary of its existence. The opening article recalls how it allbegan and what transformations has the publication gone through in thosepast years, such as its recent change from a monthly to a quarterly.The author of the following article features directions for unification ofrequirements for all users of the European airspace, and discuses those EUrequirements and their potential effects. He concludes that SES (SingleEuropean Sky) implementation in military aviation is optional, and suchdecision depends only on competences of individual member states.The next article is about airport security system and normative documentsfor building such a system. The author defines airport security zones and suggests creating a security anddefense group, which would provide for safe functioning of a military airport.The author of the next article discusses threats for radar stations, such as anti-radiation missiles, and theirevolution, based on the examples of the NATO, Russian and Chinese armies. In his opinion, any furtherdevelopment of missiles is a challenge for designers of radar stations who must consider missile threatand shorten the time of electromagnetic radiation.The influence of crew errors on air accidents is the subject for another article. The author discusses a humanfactor as significant air accident occurrence (about 33 percent). According to the author, the ability to workin a group, being interactive with other crew members, having leadership skills, clear hierarchy, but alsoempathy and being supportive, being able to receive critical remarks and being respectful of cultural differences– all are extremely important factors in flight security and avoidance of human mistakes.The origin of the 21st Central Airfield is presented in another article by its commander. He writes aboutits difficult beginnings as well as current plans for combat tasks to be well performed by the Polish andNATO air forces in the future.The condition of the Air Force of the Republic of South Africa is featured in the next article. Rysunki i szkice należy przygotować zgodnie z wymaganiami poligrafii(najlepiej w programie Ilustrator lub Corel), zdjęcia w formacie tiff lub jpeg – rozdzielczość 300 dpi. Należy podać źródła,z których autor korzystał przy opracowywaniu materiału. Niezamówionych artykułów Instytut nie zwraca. Zastrzegasobie przy tym prawo do dokonywania poprawek stylistycznych oraz skracania i uzupełniania artykułów bez naruszaniamyśli autora. Autorzy opublikowanych prac otrzymają honoraria według obowiązujących stawek. Oryginalne rysunkii zdjęcia zakwalifikowane do druku honoruje się oddzielnie.
