Was bietet die Ambiente 2011 Fachbesuchern aus dem
Contract Business?
Business’-Partner listen lassen, darunter Decor Walter, Dibbern,
Rahmenprogramm. Welche besonderen Schwerpunkte
setzen Sie in diesem Jahr?
What will Ambiente 2011 offer trade visitors from the contract
business?
“In the last few years, the contract business has consistently been a worldwide
growth market for sales. At Ambiente, companies from every product
segment, among them, Decor Walter, Dibbern, Fürstenberg, Kahla, Lambert,
O Living, Robbe & Berking and WMF have had themselves listed as contract
business partners. They will be presenting a product and services
range which will also appeal to hotel and public building fitters, turning
them into potential partners for the contract business. These companies
will be listed in a separate section of the Ambiente catalogue, in addition
to the entry in the main section, and have ‘Contract Business’ signs on their
fair stands to make them easier to identify.”
A high-class complementary programme is a major element of
Ambiente. What special focal points are planned for 2011?
“As in the past, Ambiente 2011 will open with one of the most important
design industry awards – the awards ceremony for the Design Award of
the Federal Republic of Germany will take place on the first day of the fair.
Awards like the Design Plus prize and the award nobody wants to win, the
Plagiarius award, which pillories product piracy, have also made a name for
themselves in the industry. The Trend Show will again be one of the highlights
in 2011 - the bora.herke style agency summarises the key trends for
the season ahead in four trend worlds. And last but not least, our ‘Talents’
and ‘Next’ promotional programmes will be generating fresh design
momentum.”
A personal tip for your visit to Ambiente: what you definitely
shouldn’t miss.
“We are offering an extra special platform for cutlery with our ‘Intrigued
by Knives’ show at Ambiente 2011. In partnership with the German Blade
Museum, Solingen, the show will not only feature a variety of knives and
cutlery, which can be ordered at Ambiente, but also an extremely interesting
insight into the manufacturing process, production technology and
product history. Visitors will find the show in the foyer of Hall 4.1.”
