Gimi ist ein führendes Unternehmen in Europa bei der Herstellung und Vermarktung von
Wäscheständern, Bügelbrettern, Leitern und Einkaufsrollern.
Vor 40 Jahren gegründet, ist Gimi Schritt für Schritt gewachsen und bewies
seine Wettbewerbsfähigkeit 2010 durch die Übernahme von Framar,
einem renommierten Marken-Hersteller von Bügelbrettern und Leitern.
Der Standort des Unternehmens ist in Nordostitalien in der Nähe
von Venedig. Gimi beschäftigt in seinen zwei Hauptwerken mittlerweile
300 Angestellte. Die Fabrikanlage, das Lagerhaus und die Büroräume
in Monselice (Padova) belegen eine Fläche von ca. 170.000 m²;
in Mombello Monferrato (Alessandria) sind es ca. 50.000 m².
Dank einer sorgfältigen Kundenbetreuung und
moderner Arbeitsabläufe ist Gimi immer erfolgreich gewesen.
Offizielle Zertifizierungen wie z. B. UNI EN ISO 9001,
UNI EN ISO 14001 und SA 8000 sowie ein respektvoller Umgang
mit der Umwelt sind ein Beweis dafür. Ein intensives Augenmerk richtet sich auf
Investitionen in Marketing sowie in Forschung und Entwicklung. Die logische
Folge sind Verbesserungen von hochwertigen Produkten und Innovationen, die
den Bedürfnissen bestehender und potenzieller Kunden gerecht werden können.
50 Patente und eine starke Exportausrichtung in 70 Länder unterstreichen die
Fähigkeit des Unternehmens zur langjährigen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit als Vertreter des „Made in Italy“ Stils in der
ganzen Welt. Die beiden Marken Gimi und Framar sind spezifisch positioniert und haben besondere
Produktpaletten. Die Mehrzahl der Produkte und alle Leitern sind TÜV-zertifiziert. Eine enorme Differenzierung bei den
Wäscheständern hat eine breite Produktpalette bezüglich Anwendung, Materialien und Funktionen hervorgebracht.
Das Spitzenmodell ist eine Linie von ausziehbaren Wäscheständern. Durch diese Linie
wurde Gimi in ganz Europa bekannt und wegweisend in Innovation und Stil.

Gimi is a European leader in the manufacture and marketing of
clothes dryers, ironing boards, ladders and shopping trolleys.
Founded 40 years ago, Gimi has grown step by step. In 2010 it confirmed its competitive
strength by the acquisition of Framar, a well known brand and manufacturer
of ironing boards and ladders.
The company is based in the north-east of Italy, close to Venice. Gimi now employs 300 people in its two major premises.
The plant, warehouse and offices in Monselice (Padova) cover an area of 170,000 m²; in Mombello Monferrato (Alessandria)
an area of 50,000 m².
Thanks to careful customer service practices and modern work processes Gimi has always been successful.
Official certifications such as UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001 and SA 8000 and a respectful environmental policy provide
proof of this. Special attention is given to investments in marketing and R&D. The logical consequence of this is high quality
product enhancements and innovations which satisfy current and potential consumers’ needs.

extendable clothes dryers. This line has made Gimi well known across Europe and a leader in innovation and style.
