Porzellanhersteller Arzberg feiert 80 Jahre Design und Qualität<br />
„Made in Germany“: mit dem Jubiläum seiner legendären<br />
„Form 1382“.<br />
1931 von Hermann Gretsch entworfen und vollendet, ist „Form<br />
1382“ die totale Absage an verschnörkeltes, unpraktisches<br />
Gebrauchsgeschirr; und ein klares, kompromissloses „Ja“ zu funktional<br />
gutem, formschönem Alltagsporzellan. Bis heute verkauft sich die international<br />
vielfach designprämierte Form ununterbrochen erfolgreich: Von namhaften<br />
Designern stetig weiterentwickelt und weltweit täglich und zu allen<br />
Anlässen in Gebrauch, ist „Form 1382“ Kultporzellan und zugleich eine<br />
exponierte Design-Ikone – im Museum of Modern Art in New York etwa.<br />
2011 präsentiert Arzberg das Original „1382“ mit drei neuen<br />
Dekoren. Die absolute Neuheit im Jubiläumsjahr ist „My first Arzberg“ für<br />
Einsteiger. „Die beständige und bezahlbare Weiterentwicklung der ‚1382‘<br />
birgt ein enormes Kreativitätspotenzial“, sagt Heike Philipp, die als<br />
Arzberg-Chefdesignerin die neue Trendserie entwickelt hat.<br />
Porcelain manufacturer Arzberg is celebrating 80 years of design<br />
and quality “Made in Germany” with the anniversary of its legendary<br />
“Form 1382”.<br />
Created and brought to perfection by Hermann Gretsch in 1931,<br />
“Form 1382” is a total rejection of ornate, impractical domestic tableware<br />
and a resounding, unqualified “Yes!” to functional, stylish porcelain for<br />
everyday use. Winner of numerous international awards, this design still<br />
sells well today. Continuously refined and developed by leading designers<br />
and used around the world every day and on all occasions, “Form 1382” is<br />
cult porcelain and a design icon with a strong presence – for instance, in<br />
the Museum of Modern Art in New York.<br />
In 2011 Arzberg is unveiling the original “1382” with three new<br />
decorations. One exciting new addition in the anniversary year is “My first<br />
Arzberg” for entry-level consumers. “The continuous and affordable<br />
enhance ments to “1382” hold enormous creative potential,” says Heike<br />
Philipp who developed the new and trendy line as Arzberg’s head designer.<br />
