The Buddha has arisen due to good fortune,<br />

he is fully awakened, a perfect lamp & island.<br />

Thanks to the blessing of the Buddha<br />

one may get liberated from all suffering.<br />

The Dhamma has arisen due to good fortune,<br />

it is deep, difficult to see, & subtle.<br />

Thanks to the blessing of the Dhamma<br />

one may get liberated from all suffering.<br />

The Saïgha has arisen due to good fortune,<br />

it is incomparable, worthy of (best) offerings.<br />

Thanks to the blessing of the Saïgha<br />

one may get liberated from all suffering.<br />

[ 67] Jaya-pañjara-paõõarasa-gāthā The Victor's Cage 128<br />

One wishing a son, may they obtain a son; one wishing wealth, may they<br />

obtain wealth. Having heard about the pleasantness of heavenly beings,<br />

regarding the body, there is (a way to It), the right conduct with regards to<br />

the body.<br />

The Buddhas, the noble men who drank the nectar of the four Noble Truths,<br />

having come to the victory seat, having defeated Māra together with his<br />

mount:<br />

These Buddhas, the 28 leaders, the sovereign sages beginning with<br />

Taõhaïkara are all established on the crown of my head.<br />
