[87] Before Reciting the Pāñimokkha<br />
Ahaü bhante sambahulā nānā-vatthukāyo āpattiyo<br />
āpanno tā pañidesemi.<br />
I, venerable sir, having many times fallen into offences<br />
with different bases, those do I confess.<br />
(SENIOR MONK:) Passasi āvuso? Do you see, venerable friend?<br />
(JUNIOR MONK:) Āma bhante passāmi. [88] Yes, venerable sir, I see.<br />
(SENIOR MONK:) Āyatiü āvuso saüvareyyāsi. In future, venerable friend, you should be restrained.<br />
(JUNIOR MONK:) Sādhu suññhu bhante saüvarissāmi. (3 times) It is well indeed, venerable sir, I shall be restrained.<br />
