Outstanding backlog
The outstanding backlog, i.e. the operations, which according to abas
ERP should have been completed by now will be displayed in the capacity
view. In this way you can see where problems have occurred or are about
to.
Overview of the capacity planning functions
• Specification of the theoretical capacity in the capacity units:
- machines, work centers, manual work workstations, assembly groups, etc.
• Different calendars for each capacity unit
• Modification of the theoretical capacity for certain periods in the individual operations
• Determination of bottlenecks
• Analysis and evaluation of date shifts
• Utilization overviews
• Graphical and table display
3.8.7. Completion confirmations for work orders
After the partial or complete processing of the work orders or work slips
in production, the number of products manufactured will be passed on as
completion confirmations. The administrator responsible posts the
completion confirmations and thus triggers the automatic crediting of the
manufactured products in the warehouse. At the same time the materials
required for production are booked out of the warehouse and the
machines required are released. They are then available again for new
sales orders.
Completion confirmations for
operating data can technically
be generated in different ways.
The entry can be made via the
keyboard of the workstation
(terminal, personal computer)
or by a reader (scanner, bar
code reader) linked to the
workstation.
In abas ERP completion
confirmations can also be
generated automatically, e.g.
the automatic booking out of all
materials allocated to an
operation in the structure or to
the operation "Provide materials". Such automatic completion
confirmations can also be linked to any other point in time or event. A
defined completion confirmation result in abas ERP can also generate a
receipt posting in the warehouse.
