A <strong>XI</strong>/<strong>ON</strong> station can consist of a gateway and a maximum of 74<br />

modules in slice design (equivalent to 1 m in length of mounting rail<br />

including the end bracket and end plate). The maximum number of<br />

modules is less when using block modules (1 block module is equivalent<br />

to 8 modules in slice design). The following overview shows<br />

the maximum number of channels possible, on condition that the<br />

entire station is made up of that respective type of channel only:<br />
