Removal
1 Carefully peel back
tape and disconnect
speaker cable from
logic board.
Replacement Note:
Be sure to replace
the tape covering
the speaker cable. If
you cannot reuse the
original tape, use a
piece of Kapton tape.
2 Remove 2 (4.5 mm)
922-8744 screws.
Note: Do not touch
the soft speaker cone.
3 Disconnect
microphone cable
from logic board.
4 Remove speaker and
microphone from top
case.
Replacement Note: If you
are replacing the speaker,
transfer microphone to
replacement speaker
before installing new
speaker.
