4.5 ALPHANUMERIC VT05 TERMINAL<br />

The VT05 is a flexible, high·performance alphanumeric display terminal with a<br />

cathode ray tube display and communications equipment capable of transmitting<br />

data over standard phone lines and data sets at half or full duplex at rates up to<br />

300 Baud.<br />

It is controlled by the KLl1, the same controller used with Teletype terminals.<br />

(See Chapter 8), or it may be used over a Bell 103A or equivalent modem.<br />
