For various product segments, such as fragrances, eyewear, and watches, <strong>PUMA</strong> issues<br />

licenses authorizing independent partners to design, develop and sell these products.<br />

Revenue from license agreements also includes some sales licenses for various markets.<br />

Currency-adjusted sales rose in 2012 by 5.3% to € 178.0 million. In the reporting currency,<br />

the Euro, this corresponds to an increase of 8.9%.<br />

Overall, license sales included € 19.2 million of royalty and commission income, compared to<br />

€ 17.6 million in the previous year. That represents 10.8% of license sales, unchanged from<br />

the previous year.<br />
