Cultural heritage management plans should be prepared (subject
to available funding) for the Mount Duneed Recreation Reserve,
Stewarts Reserve and the Barwon River corridor, prior to
expenditure on major works and development plans.
P 3.19 The following view lines associated with post contact heritage
places should be mapped with the assistance of a land surveyor,
and planning controls introduced to protect them:
o
from the Aqueduct and footbridge to the archaeological remnants of wool
and tannery processing factories nearby;
o from the Aqueduct and footbridge to the indigenous flora landscape
along the Barwon River corridor;
