CODE BLACK<br />
IMMEDIATE ACTIONS IF CONFRONTED<br />
• Remember that your own safety is paramount.<br />
• Remain calm.<br />
• Do not make any sudden movements.<br />
• Converse and answer questions courteously. Do only what is told, nothing more.<br />
• Hand over valuables, drugs or cash if ordered.<br />
• Take particular note <strong>of</strong> appearance, clothing, age and identifying marks.<br />
• Immediately notify SWITCHBOARD:<br />
Call Switchboard on 2444 and advise:<br />
• Type <strong>of</strong> emergency (CODE<br />
BLACK)<br />
• Exact location<br />
• If assailant flees, take notes <strong>of</strong> routes taken, vehicle details and all other pertinent<br />
information.<br />
• Brief Deputy Co-ordinator and Security Officer on arrival.<br />
• Report to Emergency Co-Ordination Centre if requested for Police Interview.<br />
• Await further instructions.<br />
DO NOT discuss details with others prior to Police Interview.<br />
