Recording and Editing Cues<br />

6. Make the changes to the cue as necessary. You can remove or<br />

'knock out' Channels from a cue by selecting them and hitting<br />

[REL] or [ESC]. See the Release topic for methods of<br />

releasing individual attributes.<br />

7. Press [UPDT] or [U] to update the cue. The Captured<br />

channels will be released and the Loaded Status Bubble will<br />

be cleared. If the loaded cue is the active cue, the stage will<br />

not change. If the loaded cue is prior to the active cue, the<br />

changes will fade when you hit [GO]. If the loaded cue is after<br />

the current cue, when you press [UPDT] the channels will be<br />

release immediately and return to their proper levels as<br />

determined by the console's Fade Resolution.<br />

Note:<br />

[S9] - Opens the Attribute dialog box to allow you to filter what will<br />

be loaded:<br />

If you double tap [S5] (or any other softkey), it will 'solo' Position.<br />

That is, all other check marks will clear and Position will remain<br />

checked.<br />

While in the main Load dialog box, if you press [SHIFT], the<br />

Attribute button will look like this<br />

Pressing any of these changes the attribute masking without the need to<br />

open the Attribute dialog box. You can also double tap any attribute family to<br />

solo it.<br />

o If you do any Attribute Masking during the load process,<br />

the Loaded Status Bubble will not be filled and you will not be able<br />

to use [UPDT]. You will have to use [REC] and specifically<br />

determine where you are going to record what was loaded.<br />

Updating a Cue from the BLIND Display using Load<br />

1. Select from the channel grid Tool Bar .<br />

2. Press [LOAD], enter a cue number. The QWERTY equivalent to<br />

hitting [LOAD] is [SHIFT][B] (Load is Shift Blind).<br />
